About Whidbey Bed and Biscuit
Our Story
At Whidbey Bed and Biscuit, we started with a simple goal: to provide a safe and fun environment for dogs to play and socialize. With dedicated personal care in an intimate home environment, we've been able to do just that.
Our Services
We offer cage free overnight boarding in our home. The schedule allows for all the dogs to play outside as well as nap in the living room on the couch. The big dogs are separated from the littles outside for safety. Our focus is making sure your dog is happy and safe.
Our Home
Our home is equipped with indoor and outdoor play areas, comfy couches in the living room, and plenty of toys and activities to keep your dog entertained. We also have strict cleaning protocols to ensure a healthy and hygienic environment.
Meet the Owner!
Kelly Scotthanson
With more than 18 years as the owner of Whidbey Bed & Biscuit, my life’s work has revolved around dogs. My passion began in childhood and has grown into a lifelong commitment to understanding, supporting, and caring for dogs at every stage of life.
Before launching Whidbey Bed & Biscuit, I worked as a veterinary technician, gaining valuable hands-on experience in animal health, safety, and wellbeing. Combined with decades of involvement in dog rescue, training, and showing, this background has shaped my holistic, compassionate approach to care. I believe every dog deserves individualized attention, respect, and a safe and loving environment.
At Whidbey Bed & Biscuit, I offer a premium in-home boarding experience tailored to each dog’s unique needs. Whether maintaining routines, providing specialized care, or simply creating a calm and comforting environment, I treat every guest as part of my family. My mission is to give dogs a nurturing, enriching, and stress-free stay — and to offer their owners peace of mind.
